Spinal Decompression is a non-surgical, traction based treatment for herniated, protruding or bulging discs in the neck and lower back.

Once the patient is placed in the correct treatment posture, the computerized traction head applies a pre-programmed pattern of axial distraction in an intermittent fashion of pull-relax-pull. This pattern eliminates muscle guarding and permits decompression to occur at the disc level. The pull force is sufficient enough to create a negative pressure within the disc allowing the protruding or herniated portion to be pulled back within the normal confines of the disc allowing healing to occur.
